Rex The BBC's flagship motoring programme Top Gear dominated the most popular shows watched on the iPlayer on-demand service in 2013, new figures reveal. The Africa Special part one was the single most watched programme, with 3,422,000 views last year, the BBC said. More and more people are watching programmes on catch-up via their computers, tablets or phones: a record three billion shows were streamed on iPlayer in 2013, a rise of 33% on the previous year.

Here's Kia's answer to Volkswagen's Golf GTi and Ford's Focus ST - the Proceed GT. It's a hot hatch with a 200bhp 1.6-litre petrol engine, and will cost just over £20,000. Look out for its reveal at the 2013 Geneva motor show, with sales starting in summer 2013.

The peak torque figure and the four-wheel drive system remain unchanged, so the 0-62mph sprint time remains pegged at (a hardly lethargic) 3.4 seconds, but the top speed is up a few units to 205mph.
